MR expansion modules work with Pixel, 2G, 2Gi controllers. Up to 8 MR can be connected to one controller, while the total number of channels can be 112.

Features of the MR module:
  • The expansion bus is galvanically isolated from the MR channels, in turn, most of the channels in the MR modules have a channel-by-channel galvanic isolation, which protects the equipment from the effects of overvoltage, short circuits and other abnormal situations.
  • The expansion bus is serial with a sufficiently high signal level. Expansion modules can be placed at a distance of up to 2 m from the base unit. It is not necessary to install resistors-terminators.
  • Communication and power supply of the modules are on the same bus, which ensures ease of installation.
  • LEDs on the front panels of the MR inform the user about the status of the module and its channels.
  • The state of the MR channels can be controlled manually, for example, during debugging.
  • Easy to connect MR in the SMLogix programming environment - no need to assign addresses and speeds
  • The survey of the expansion modules is carried out synchronously with the FBD cycle of the project in the base controller.
